Luck releases his debut six-track EP. The 26 year-old rapper from Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood collaborated with Louie London, Musa Reems and Sauda Muse for this extended play which was executive produced by Na$im Williams. The project also features production from D'Artizt.

 

The lead single "Havoc" co-produced by Lil Up explores what it feels like to plan to take over the world aka Pinky and the Brian and Tony Montana. 

 

Luck has a lyrical flow and offers a variety of sounds on the track, that is sure to make an impact on Chicago's scene and beyond.

Music Producer and DJ...

 

      Na$im Williams windy city work ethic can be measured in the throngs of smiling faces and dancing bodies that grace the dance floor of one of his exclusive gigs from around the country. In his musical quest to impact the cultural landscape, Na$im brings a diverse set of talents to the table.

      Last year started with a bang when Na$im dropped “Want It All” featuring Harlem legend Cam’Ron. The track was debuted with a guest deejay set on Sirius XM’s Shade 45 station. The wave of powerful music led to a year full of collaborations with Sisi Dior, Vic Spencer and other Chicago counterparts. Williams capped it off by scoring an independent film to be released in 2018.

      This innovative beat-smith can take a chord and make a masterpiece. He has emerged as one of the biggest talents coming out of Chicago within its renaissance of Hip Hop with cutting edge production and life-of-the-party DJ sets From the West Town neighborhood of the Chi, Na$im is an educator and staple in the community.

      On the production side, he has released various highly acclaimed instrumental projects that revolve around his unique and diverse sound. Na$im has a niche sound which ranges from older sample-based records to heavy hitting trap sounds. The sound has made him travel as far as New York, to collaborate on gritty, boom-bap tracks, and Los Angeles, to work on soulful orchestrations.

    When he’s not in the studio working on future hit records, Na$im is in heavy rotation spinning throughout Chicago’s busy nightlife. Initially starting via the college/university circuit he is now opening up for the likes of Nas, Travis Scott, Vic Spencer, GLC and Boldy James whilst frequenting various other nightclubs and venues. He has also produced records for the likes of Savemoney, Scheme, Lili K, Chandler London, and ProbCause amongst other artists. Na$im draws on the collective creativity of Chicago’s Treated Crew, an artist collective known for it’s Grammy winning musicians, fashion designers and trend setters. Na$im can weave this lifestyle onto wax, made to order for talented MCs.
